Activities

Brooklawn students have an STLP Program that started this school year. Our students have been working on web page design, A+ Certfication and graphic design along with basic trouble shooting skills for computers and printers. Our STLP went to the "Showcase For Schools" along with other Jefferson County students. This was a first for Brooklawn. It was a great experience for our boys. Andrew E. and Tim J. entered their graphic art pieces into the showcase and their work has gone on to be judged with other counties in Kentucky. All winners will be announced at the KTLC in March. Students At Work

Brooklawn is proud to announce that we have a new Auto Mechanics building on our campus. William Greenwell, a veteran teacher with State Agency Schools, is the instuctor for our students. Isadore Sutton (Izzy) is an ECE assistant to Mr. Greenwell and is also a veteran to State Agency Schools. We now are able to have a morning and afternoon session by having the building on the campus. We have other state agency schools that are also involved in Auto Mechanics. Our students are very honored to have this opportunity to learn vocational skills. We welcome Mr. Greenwell and Mr.Sutton to Brooklawn!
