Olmsted North young men, under the tutelage of Joe Stivers, did outstanding on Saturday February 5, at the 2011 KMEA Solo & Ensemble Festival! Each of them looked professional and performed with great confidence. We had 25 students represent Olmsted North (which is seven more from last year). Out of our 25 OAN students, 22 scored either Distinguished or Proficient! This is six more from last year!

The Chess-team placed 2nd in the JCPS Chess League regular season and narrowly missed also taking second in the Tournament due to the weather condition causing one of our players to miss the first round.
