Crosby Middle School develops and enhances students’ intellectual, emotional, social, moral, and physical development through a student-centered, progressive, and integrated environment. Through challenging and engaging instruction, shared decision making, and continual reflection upon program effectiveness, Crosby provides students with the essential skills needed to be successful in future academic and social endeavors. Crosby also provides students with a well-rounded education through numerous school activities, extracurricular opportunities, and support services.

Announcements

Eighth Grade Promotion Ceremony: The eighth grade promotion ceremony is June 5th at 10 a.m. at Highview Baptist Church on Shelbyville Road.  The students must arrive between 8:30 and 9 am. They do not come to school that day.

Color Guard Try-outs at EHS: Eastern High School will be holding auditions for the color guard to perform with the marching band. Auditions are open to all current 7th and 8th grade girls and will be held at Eastern HS in the small gym on May 21st, 28th and 30th. You must attend all three days. Auditions will be begin at 6:00 and end at 8:30. Wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes. No experience is required!

2013 Yearbook Sales:

We have a limited number of books to sell and they are sold at a first come first served basis. All pre-ordered books will be distributed the first day of sales. All sales are CASH ONLY. Yearbooks will be sold during sixth period in the media center. To purchase a book you can NOT be on the debt/fees owed list.

Any remaining books will be sold May 31st to all grade levels.

K-PREP Testing: May 20-24th we will be participating in the state wide K-PREP testing. Please read the following letter from our principal.
