| With great ambition and dedication to service, the STARS club
(Students Taking Action to Reach Society) has defined itself as
one of Eastern’s most outgoing, mission seeking, and humbled
clubs. STARS is a volunteer organization composed of a variety of
Eastern students seeking to be active in bettering their community.
STARS volunteers in a variety of ways, whether it may be through
food drives, coin drives, or distributing their time amongst diverse
facilities such as Kids Café, Plymouth Community Renewal
Center, tutoring underprivileged, dyslexic children, or at retirement
centers.
Whether it may be through volunteering their time, donating funds,
or a little bit of loving compassion, those dedicated to the STARS
club have always been willing to put in a little extra time and
heart.
