The Beta Club promotes character, develops leadership skills, encourages service involvement, recognizes achievement, and provides technological advantages to students at Eastern High School.

The Beta Club has sponsored several service projects in the past year. It raised over $300 for Juveniles with Diabetes Research. It collected and donated cell phones to the Center for Women and Families, where the phones were given to abused and battered women. It also collected items for Maryhurst's "Teens for Teens" program where the items helped to stock the Maryhurst Boutique.

Beta Service Hours: Each student must have 10 service hours per semester, 20 total for the school year. Please check the Beta bulletin board outside of student services for hour opportunities.   You must have a Beta Verification Sheet filled out for any service a member participates in OFF Campus.  Hours are valid when completing any type of service, be it through school, church, or community.  Give your time is the most precious gift you can give to someone else.  

Beta Service Hours: Fall hours are due by Monday December 13th. Newly inducted sophomores need to have at least 5 hours at this time.  If 10 hours are not received, a member will be put on probation.  Failure to complete 20 hours by the end of the school year will result in a student being asked to no longer be a part of the Beta Club at Eastern.
