In October, the football field was taken over by Eastern’s girls for the battle of the the Classes! Powder Puff is an all-girls flag football tournament lasting four strenuous days and completed with a championship game. The game was held in front of the whole school during the Homecoming Pep Rally.

The championship game placed the Juniors and the Seniors against each other. Mr. Haysley coached the Juniors. Mr. Stevens and Mr. Roman coached the Seniors. The Seniors took the final game and the championship trophy. The Sophomore girls became the reigning champions of Powderpuff 2008!
