Founded in 1950, Eastern High School a has rich tradition of serving the community. Located off Shelbyville Road, Eastern High School offers a blend of tradition and excellence. For over 50 years it has been the educational "point" in eastern Jefferson County. With an enrollment of over 1,900 students, this school has been the pilot for education partnerships with companies such as IBM, Dell and Microsoft. Recognized as a national leader in technological innovation, Eastern is poised to prepare its student body for the emerging technologically advanced economy.
