"Site Based Decision Making"

The SBDM or student based decision making council is a board mandated

organization, established to enhance students' achievement and experience

here at ballard. The members of SBDM must include at least one administrator,

and a number of teachers and parents. The SBDM has the responsibility to set school

policies in the areas specified by law that shall provide an environment to enhance

students' achievement and to help the school meet the goals established by the

Kentucky Education Reform Act.
