JCPS Board of Education approved 26 million dollars of federal
stimulus funds to Valley Traditional High School. An investment of this magnitude
makes a powerful statement concerning the district’s commitment to our students,
our school, and our community. The funds have been targeted to the following:
• A new gymnasium with an indoor track
• A new (800 seat) auditorium
• New science labs
• New roof
• New heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system (HVAC)
