Fairdale High School

School Profile
Fairdale is one of the Districts Magnet Career Academies, with Optional programs in Public Safety Technology. This program includes areas of study like Law Enforcement, Fire Science, Emergency Medical Technology, Legal and Medical Office Technology, and Radio Electronic Communications. Students shadow Public Safety Professionals throughout the program and have the opportunity for internships in their chosen field. The precollege curriculum makes college-credit classes available so Fairdale graduates can move on to college and already be a step ahead. Fairdale requires its students to wear uniforms. Fairdale offers the Honors Program, Extended School Services, a Youth Services Center, and Early Childhood Jump Start programs for three- and four-year-olds. Fairdale is a Health Promotion School of Excellence, a participant in the Comprehensive School Health Education Project, and a School-Based Decision Making school.
