Eastern parents represent a critical aspect of our students' education. Parents' interest and support in their child's endeavors resonate strongly with our students and greatly enhance their experiences.

For this reason, Eastern parents are strongly encouraged to take an active role in their child's education by "getting involved." The ambiguity of this phrase exemplifies the true variety of ways in which a parent can "get involved."

The High School offers programs like the PTSA, an organization concerned with keeping parents informed and assisting Eastern's administration through various activities, to promote this idea of parental involvement as an essential and indispensable facet the high school experience. The PTSA coordinates a variety of volunteer opportunities such as the Clothing Assistance Program, Picture Day, Academic Awards, Newsletter, Hospitality, Bookstore etc.

By utilizing the Eastern High School website, parents and students can learn more about these programs and the procedure for joining.
