The Eastern High School Bowl-A-Thon is an event that is held each year. The Bowl-A-Thon is used to raise money for the Special Olympics. This year's Bowl-A-Thon raised $2,300. In past years the event was only between newspaper & yearbook, but this restriction was recently changed so that all students may participate.

Twenty teams, made of 89 Eastern students and 9 Special Olympic bowlers compete in the tournament. Each bowler had to raise at least $25 to participate & recieved a T-Shirt designed by newspaper members. Eighteen students who raised $50, recieved a special olympics hoodie.
