Senior Prom - May 19, 2012. Dinner at 7 pm, sance 8 - 12.

Graduation - May 31, 2012. Ceremony at 3 pm (Freedom Hall).

Senior Activities:

Saturday

  • The Senior Prom will be in mid-May. The venue will be Papa Johns Cardinal Stadium in the Brown and Williamson Room. Tickets will go on sale the last week of April. A full course dinner is included at a cost of $35.00.

Wednesday

  • Seniors attend classes as normal. Attendance is taken first period.
  • Senior meeting and Graduation practice run through at 9 a.m. will be held in the gym. Students will be dismissed from class and called to the gym.
  • After practice, students will be dismissed to return to class. Exams will be held during 4th period. Throughout the day, students can make up any missed work.
  • Belle of Louisville Cruise will be held. Boarding will be from 5:30 – 6:00. The cruise will be from 6:00 – 8:00. Passengers will leave the boat from 8:00 – 8:30. Soft drinks are free; concessions can be purchased on board from the concession stand. Teachers and chaperones will have a pot luck on board. Price of tickets is $5.00 for Seniors and $10.00 for guests.

Thursday

  • Seniors attend classes as normal. Attendance is taken first period.
  • Awards ceremony will be held in auditorium at 8:30 AM at Eastern High School. Seniors should wear dress appropriate to receive awards. Please be aware, some of the presenters are from the community.
  • Senior debt list will be available. Make-up finals will be throughout the day.

Friday

  • Seniors attend classes as normal. Attendance is taken first period.
  • Cap and gown distribution will be at 9 a.m.
  • Make-up finals will be taken throughout the day.

Monday

  • Seniors attend classes as normal. Attendance is taken first period.
  • The Senior Luncheon will be held at 11 a.m. The luncheon will be held at Middletown Methodist Church. Field trip permission slips are required. Dress should be appropriate for a luncheon outside of school. Students should not transport other students.
  • Make-up finals will be taken throughout the day.

Tuesday

  • Seniors attend classes as normal. Attendance is taken first period.
  • Graduation practice at 10 a.m. at Broadbent Arena. Field Trip persmission slips are required.
  • Make-up finals will be taken throughout the day.

Wednesday

  • Seniors attend classes as normal. Attendance is taken first period.
  • Senior picnic at 11 a.m. on the football field.
  • Graduation at 8:00 p.m. at Broadbent Arena. Students should be ready to line up at 7:00 p.m. Please do not bring balloons to graduation. There is a $25 retrieval fee for any balloons let go. The senior class will be assessed this fee.
  • Project Graduation will be at Hoops. Doors will open at 11:00 PM. Doors will be locked at 12:00 AM. Students are dismissed at 5AM. There will be games, DJ, food, and lots of prizes. More details will be available at a later date.
  • Make-up finals will be taken throughout the day.
