Shacklette has an active Parent Teacher Association (PTA). Membership continues to grow each year. The PTA is a service organization for the students, and it plans various activities, including the Fall Festival, skating parties, and Kentucky Kids’ Day. All parents, family members, and staff are encouraged to join and participate.

PTA membership is $4 per person. Become a PTA member and become a voice for your child. Each family has an oppotunity to win the following prizes by signing up the most members:

1st Place: A family trip to Dixie Dozen
2nd Place: A family night out bowling
3rd Place: A Blockbuster gift card with candy and popcorn
