Computers

Students at Minors Lane Elementary School have access to computers both in the classroom and in the computer lab. Written parental permission must be secured before students can gain access to the Internet.

Extended School Services

The Extended School Services (ESS) Program at Minors Lane Elementary School allows for extra scheduled instructional time for students who need help with schoolwork. ESS does not interfere with regular classes because it is provided as extra support within the students' classroom or outside normal school hours.

Honor Roll

Students in the fourth and fifth grades can qualify for the Honor Roll by maintaining A's and B's. After each nine weeks, students are recognized for their achievements.

Fall Festival

The Minors Lane Elementary School Parent Teacher Association (PTA) holds an annual Fall Festival. This is the largest fundraiser that occurs. It all takes place thanks to the support of our parents and community friends. A spaghetti supper is served, and special activities are held. Parents are made aware of planning stages as they progress. This information is sent home in fliers and is printed in the school newsletter.
