School Profile

Hartstern Elementary can provide your child with a well-rounded education. The school has a fully equipped computer lab with work stations and laptop computers and is Internet accessible. The science lab offers students opportunities to integrate classroom lessons with hands-on experiences. Title I and Exceptional Child Education staff work collaboratively within the classroom and are a part of the total school team. Hartstern has a Pre-Kindergarten classroom that serves four-year-old students as well as Extended School Services for the students in Kindergarten through Grade Five. Parents can turn to the Family Resource Center for assistance and support. The parents at Hartstern are very supportive of the PTA and are involved in the School-Based Decision Making Council. Students at Hartstern are required to wear uniforms.
