School Profile

Gilmore Lane offers a high-quality instructional program, particularly in the areas of reading and mathematics. The school gives students opportunities to enhance their reading skills through the Accelerated Reader Program, Reading Is Fundamental, and the literature component of the Child Development Project. In mathematics, students use extra materials, hands-on tools, and the latest technology to better understand mathematics. Many lessons combine art and science, and specific classes are offered in art, music, physical education, and technology. Gilmore Lane offers Early Childhood Jump Start programs for four-year-olds and Extended School Services. The Family Resource Center provides counseling and support.
