Located in the heart of the city, Camp Taylor Elementary offers something for every child. Dedicated to meeting the needs of every student, Camp Taylor offers many diverse programs to the students we serve. Whether your child is an excellent or struggling reader, is proficient or needs help in math, Camp Taylor Elementary has a curriculum to meet your child's needs. Through interventions and day-time Extended School Services you can be assured your child will get the attention they need. Through science modules, your child will be exposed to real-world, hands-on science which directly connects to our partnership with the Louisville Zoo. Our recently redesigned computer lab is equipped with the latest technology where your child will learn the basics of word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and telecommunications. Each classroom has a minimum of two computers with Internet access.

Our PTA continuously strives to build relationships between parents and teachers with numerous activities that provide opportunities for interaction that foster the home-school connection.

Our Family Resource Center goes to great lengths to ensure families have the tools they need to encourage and support learning. Camp Taylor Elementary also offers many after school programs to compliment educating the whole child. These programs include: co-ed basketball, cheerleading, volleyball, golf, art, and chess club.
