Camp Taylor Elementary offers a full time Computer Lab Teacher/School Technology Coordinator (STC) and a high speed, online lab with 30 new HP workstations. Our technology program supports the Computer Applications Skills Continuum and provides students and faculty with the skills necessary to incorporate technology throughout the curriculum. Beginning in P1, students learn computer operation skills, which include word processing, spreadsheet, data base, presentation, telecommunications, Internet safety, and ethics and legal issues. Camp Taylor Elementary has a Student Technology Leadership Program (STLP), which offers selected students the opportunity to learn/enhance technology skills to provide computer support throughout the building. Camp Taylor Elementary is proud of our students who have achieved Mastery Level of the annual Computer Applications Skills Assessment (CASA). |
