Arts and Humanities Teacher

In the Arts and Humanities program at Camp Taylor, students are introduced to the joys of learning about visual art, music, dance, and drama. The students learn about the arts through experiential, hands-on activities and academics. Students in third, fourth, and fifth grade carry a folder to class in which they store handouts and write core content vocabulary and definitions. Fourth and fifth graders are also responsible for homework on a regular basis.

Each spring, fifth grade students take a Kentucky Core Content Test (KCCT) in Arts and Humanities. My goal is for children to enjoy, appreciate, and increase their knowledge about the arts.

I work with students throughout the year on programs, art exhibits, contests, and other activities to showcase their talents and their work.
