| Byck Elementary School, through our K-5 Talent Development Magnet and K-5 Waldorf-Inspired Magnet, develops the academic, artistic, and creative talents of our students. We stress strong academic standards and enriched learning opportunities. Students develop their talents through planned enrichment activities that range from exploration to in-depth studies; special services for gifted and talented students; and an optional, kindergarten-through-grade-five team that uses Waldorf instructional methods. The curriculum is based on principles of active learning, multiple intelligences, arts in education, integrated themes, problem solving, and student choice. |
