Teacher's Notes:
The science fair is an opportunity for our students to take what they learn in the science lab and in class on a weekly basis and apply it in a real world situation. Students are encouraged to do experiments and follow the scientific method. They collect data, record it, and present their results using charts and graphs. They reach a conclusion from the data that they collected and come up with other questions that they can experiment with in the future. The top five experiments from each homeroom class advance to the Science Fair. The students with the top two projects from each class receive a medal. All the students in the fair have an opportunity to speak to a judge. The judge makes the final recommendation on who will be awarded the medal
