Education/Degrees: Bachelor of Science in Education from Georgetown College. Master's Degree for School Library Media Specialist from Spalding University.

Personal Information: I grew up in Louisville and graduated from Pleasure Ridge Park High School. I am glad to be back in the same area teaching at such a wonderful school. I am blessed to have my husband (Rick), two daughters (Lexie and Audrey), and a son (Eli). I also have a huge extended family that is very close.
Interests/Hobbies: I love spending time with my family, playing volleyball, and reading.
Favorite Books: There are so many! I would say Tale of DespereauxI is my favorite book. The Junie B. Jones series makes me laugh out loud. I also love the Fancy Nancy series because they remind me of my little girls!
