Activities/Achievements:
Personal Information: I am a graduate of Wilkerson and I remember telling my fourth grade teacher, "I am going to come back here and teach fourth grade one day." Well, twenty years later ... here I am! Before teaching fourth grade, I taught third grade at the former St. Pius X School and second/third grades here at Wilkerson. In addition to teaching, I am a proud member of St. Ignatius Martyr Catholic Church where I am a minister of music and member of the worship committee. I also work with art and environment, summer picnic, fall festival, and Vacation Bible School. I was honored to receive the Steward of the Month Award in October 2009. I am also the director of the St. Peter the Apostle Gospel Choir. Faith is very important to my family, which includes my parents (and our family dog, Pepper), two sisters, four nieces, and one nephew.
Interests/Hobbies: I enjoy singing, playing games, reading biographies, watching movies, text messaging, eating out, dancing, traveling (especially tropical places), and meeting new people. I am also interested in church history, African-American history, Gospel music, TV Shows involving law (especially "Law and Order"), and U of L Basketball.

Favorite Quote: "Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that." --Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
