Policies

Checkout/Circulation Policy -- Faculty

Faculty and staff are allowed to check out as many items as necessary. A transaction list will be printed before Christmas and at the end of April so students can help locate items before breaks. Transaction lists can also be printed upon request. We will gladly help staff locate resources to use in the classroom. Please send a note to the library about the topic you need, and we will get the items to you by the following morning.

Checkout/Circulation Policy -- Students

Students in grades K-5 will visit the library at least once a week. During this time students will be instructed in an information literacy lesson and activity. Kindergarten and First grade may check out 1 book per week. Second through Fifth grade may check out two books per week.

Books are due one week from the day they check out. Students may renew their books, but they MUST bring them to library class. If a book is overdue, the student may not check out another book until the overdue book is returned.

If an item is damaged or lost, a bill will be sent home for payment of the item. If a lost item is found, we will reimburse the payment.
