The Helping Hearts and Hands Family Resource Center services families from both Watterson and Klondike Lane Elementary schools. The primary goal of our Centeris to work in partnership with the community to remove all barriers to children's learning. We believe that in order to create an environment in which all of our children are given the opportunity to reach their full potential, we must build a partnership that includes students, parents, staff members, and the community.
Some of the services that we provide include:
- Parent and child education opportunities and literacy events
- On-site physical clinics and annual vision screening
- Parent workshops
- After school programs
- Referrals to community assistance programs
