

Tammy Gibson is the vocal and general music teacher at Lincoln Elementary Performing Arts School. She received her Bachelor of Music and Master of Arts in Music Education at Western Kentucky University.
She has been a music educator for 13 years; the last nine years have been in Northern Kentucky. Her teaching experience includes choral, guitar, and piano as well as general classroom music. She is also trained in Orff-Schulwerk.
She has served as musical director of high school and elementary musicals and numerous school performances over the years. Her teaching responsibilities have also included teaching dance and drama core content and writing arts integrated curriculum. She has served as a presenter in previous school district's Professional Growth Academies in arts integrated curriculum. She received an Outstanding Achievement Award from her previous district for her team leadership the arts connection program. She also worked as Arts Consultant with the Cincinnati Children's Theatre to write music and drama lesson plans for study guides for their 2004 and 2005 seasons. She has performed vocally and served as piano accompanist in various venues.
An important aspect of her life is her family. She is married and has two sons and two cats. She enjoys watching football and writing music.
Penelope Quesada, the instrumental music teacher at Lincoln Elementary Performing Arts School, is a Peruvian flutist. She got her Music Teaching Certificate and Music Performance studies from the Music Conservatory in Lima Peru.
In the United States, Ms. Quesada completed her B.A. and Masters in Music at the University of Louisville. She also has a Music Education Teaching Certificate from the Kentucky Education Professional Standards Board.
Ms. Quesada is Orff Certified on Levels I , II and III by the University of Kentucky and Carnegie Mellon University. She has also completed the "Orff Curriculum Development" seminar at University of Kentucky with Jay Broeker.
Experienced as a bilingual music teacher, Penelope has instructed within the local Catholic school system for the past six years. She specializes in Multicultural and World Music through the use of the Orff teaching approach. Ms. Quesada integrates Spanish language and Latino Music through song, dance and instrumental music.
Between the communities Ms. Quesada has worked with Americana Community Center, the Center for Women and Families, La Casita Center and the Peace Education Program of Kentucky.
As a performer Ms. Quesada is listed at the Kentucky Arts Council Performing Arts Directory. She has played flute for nearly twenty years and performed recitals to audiences in Latin America and in the United States..
Ms. Quesada was the recipient of "Outstanding and Consistent Achievement in Woodwinds Award" and the "Stealth Musician Award" by the University of Louisville.
At the moment she is working on her second's Master's degree in Education Technology at University of Louisville.
