Online Training Instructions

Online training is currently available for experienced Council members only.

1. Download the Senate Bill 1 Informational Modules document for a description of the modules available.

2. Instructions on how to access the module are located at the bottom of the Senate Bill 1 Information Modules document.

3. You are required to complete modules 1 and 2 and then you are free to select one more module to complete your three hour training update. Feel free to complete more if you like.

4. Each module takes one hour to complete and may be completed at different times and in any order.

5. Upon completion of each module, you are required to take a five-question quiz. You must answer four of the five questions correctly to receive credit for the module. If you do not pass the quiz the first time you may take it again.

6. Once you pass the quiz and complete the KET evaluation you will receive an email with your certificate.

7. Please forward your certificate (for a total of 3 or more) to shawna.stenton@jefferson.kyschools.us to get PD credit.

8. If the certificate is not received then SBDM PD credit will not be given.

9. JCPS employees are required to complete the evaluation on pdCentral. You will receive an email notifying you when the evaluation is ready.
