Applying to Elementary Schools and Programs
The elementary school registration and application period for the 2013-14 school year is Mon. Nov. 19, 2012, through Fri., Jan. 11, 2013. Incoming kindergarten students, students who have moved, students new to the district, and any student interested in an optional program, magnet program, or magnet school may apply.
Note: “The initial application period for the 2013-14 school year ended on January 11, 2013. Late applications for optional and magnet programs will be accepted until December 31, 2013, but will only be considered if a program has seats available after the initial assignment of applications received on or before January 11, 2013. Applications for elementary cluster schools will still be accepted, but assignments will be made after the initial assignment of applications received on or before January 11, 2013. If you are new, or have moved, you can still complete this section and an assignment will be made as soon as possible.”
