Students earn perfect SAT and ACT scores

Wesley Krueger, a senior at Atherton High, earned a perfect score on the SAT college admissions exam, which includes tests in reading, math, and writing. Each test is scored on a scale of 200 to 800.

Rodney Folz, a junior at duPont Manual High, earned the highest possible composite score (36) on the ACT. This exam includes tests in English, math, reading, and science. Each test is scored on a scale of 1 to 36, and a student’s composite score is the average of the scores on the four tests. The national average composite score for the 2009 test was 21.1.
