| Frederick Law Olmsted Academy North is the district's first all-boys' middle school. |
| Students have the opportunity to participate in various school clubs, sports and be on the Student Council. Students are given recognition for being leaders and positive contributors to the community. |

About the Name
The school was named after the founder of Louisville's park system, Frederick Law Olmsted.
