This is a parent sponsored activity. Tennis is a Fall sport designed for all grade levels and abilities. The requirements and other information are listed below.
Parents will be depended on to provide transportation and carpooling to matches from Noe. Parents are responsible for making arrangements to have students picked up by 4:30 from matches.
6th, 7th, and 8th Grade. Students must participate in tryouts; complete a physical; and maintain a 2.0 GPA. Players must provide their own tennis racquet, appropriate shoes, and have a general knowledge of the rules of tennis and how to keep score.
Fall Sport. The schedule begins the Thursday after Labor Day and continues through the end of October. Matches are played on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3 until 4:30 at various tennis courts.
Per Player (based on 2008 season) $18.00 for one year USTA Membership + $40.81 for the Middle School League which includes a NIKE T-shirt + $5.00 for snacks and water bottles.
