The Jazz band is designed for students who want to explore more advanced Jazz musical techniques. The Jazz Band rehearses on Thursday afternoons. Students must audition for the group by playing selected music. The following instruments are included: saxophone, trumpet, trombone/baritone, piano, bass, drums, or vibraphone.
Auditions are in September. Students must see Ms. Lyles for music and information
6th, 7th, and 8th Grade. Students must have 1 year experience in their instrument. Instruments needed are trumpet, trombone, saxophone, piano, bass, drum set. Auditions held in September.
Thursdays from 2:30 - 4:00 p.m. - all year.
