Noe will have a single cheerleading squad this year, comprised of 22-26 students. They will perform at all of the home games and away games and participate in four to six 8th Grade competitions during the season. Practices will take place twice weekly. All games are played after school, on Thursdays. Fees include the rental/purchase of various cheerleading outfits, supplies, and competition fees.
6th, 7th, and 8th Grade. Students must have a physical and maintain a 2.0 GPA without any D's or U's.

Practices and Games: 3-4 Days a week
Practices will be announced. Games will be on Thursdays after school and last until about 5:30.
On game days cheerleaders will need to be picked up wherever the game is held.
We will compete in 4-6 competitions during the season. If you are trying out, you are making a commitment to finish the season, participate at practices, and compete in all competitions.
A system will be used to monitor attendance, grades, attitudes, and behavior on the cheerleading squad and on the academic teams. You must present yourself well because you are a cheerleader on and off the court. You must maintain a C average with no D's or U's. Grades will be checked weekly.
There will be several fundraisers to help cover cheerleading costs, mostly unitforms and competition fees, as well as other cheer costs. Everyone is expected to participate in fundraisers.
Tryouts are held in mid-August, with a clinic to learn the cheers prior to the tryout. Cost is $5.00 for tryouts.
