The Noe Middle School Band is an outstanding performance ensemble for students who wish to learn woodwind, brass or percussion instruments. The band performs many styles of music and has earned Distinguished ratings at the Kentucky Music Educators Association (KMEA).
In band, each student is introduced to basic performance techniques on his or her instrument. These techniques include correct tone production, position, and posture and basic music theory and history. The classes are designed for both beginners and advanced students.
