





This group of enthusiastic and talented visual artists moves art out of the classroom and into the community. Members strengthen their art skills. Comprised of a group of enthusiastic visual art students whose goal is to take art out of the classroom and into the community. The Art Club fosters excellence and inspiration to students' artistic ability. Members perform community service art related projects, as well as concentrate on completing work for their portfolios.
The activity is student interest driven with strong focus on community activities. NJAHS is responsible for maintaining the visual art displays at Noe, updating the webpage, exploring new and alternative art work and keeping an open mind to the creative spirit.
Activities include: Community Service activities, Murals, School wide exhibited artwork, visiting artists, trips to art exhibitions, and visual art portfolio development.
7th Grade - 2 clubs, alternate weeks, meets on Wednesdays. 8th Grade - Thursdays, Visual Arts Students. Pick up students at 3:30 pm. One semester of art or permission of sponser - muzt be self-motivated and have a keen interest in art.
Meetings are held on Wednesdays, 2:30-3:30 for 7th Grade students and Thursdays, 2:30-3:30 for 8th Grade students, beginning September 13 and September 14.
