Meyzeek’s mathematics program integrates the proven curriculum of Connected Mathematics with the math laptops initiative, which puts tablet PCs, computers, and projectors in the hands of teachers and students. Unique to Meyzeek, the school offers an Accelerated Mathematics course that operates two years above grade level. Extra-curricular activities including MathCounts and Math Olympiad further students’ study.

Science
|
| |
The $25 million GE grant brings an exciting hands-on curriculum to science. As in math, new technology provides students with innovative learning environments. Combined with the Science Fair and Science Olympiad, the development of a community garden, an outdoor classroom, and a robotics program broaden students’ real-world application of content.

Technology
|
| |
Every sixth and eighth grade student engages in a twelve week technology course. The curriculum operates within a virtual learning environment accessible anywhere in the world. Students apply current office applications and multimedia composition tools across the curriculum through labs dedicated to each discipline, ensuring access and pursuing proficiency for everyone.

Liberal Arts
|
| |
A liberal arts education is embedded within the Math, Science, and Technology program. Disciplines such as Language Arts and social studies form core components of every child’s experience. Diverse pieces of writing give students necessary outlets for guided expression. Social studies trips, including an 8th grade excursion to Washington, D.C., bring textbooks to life. Beyond the core, students engage in the arts, including visual media, orchestra, or band. Horizons expand to include world languages of French and Spanish. Students from Meyzeek move to high school with a well-rounded academic foundation and habits for success. |
