School Profile
Albert E. Meyzeek Middle School serves 1,100 sixth-, seventh-, and eighth-grade students. The school is equally divided between resides students and those who come from the northern third of the county to participate in a Math, Science, and Technology Magnet (MST) Program. Admission to the MST Program is by application. Students are served in advance, honors, comprehensive, and Exceptional Child Education classes, with an emphasis on helping all students reach high standards of learning. Many of Meyzeek’s students participate in academic competitions and the school boasts many trophy cases that represent these young people’s successes. The school has an active PTSA, an SBDM Council, extensive Extended School Services programs including summer offerings, and a wide range of after-school extracurricular activities. In addition, a Community School is housed at the facility with programming during the evening, on weekends, and during school vacations.
