Highland Middle School is more than just a great school. We are truly a community committed to assuring that each student is given the opportunity to reach their academic potential in a nurturing environment that appreciates and respects their individuality.
All students are required to take Language Arts, Science, Math and Social Studies. In addition to these four core classes, students have two Related Arts classes. Related Arts classes include Band, Orchestra, Chorus, French, Spanish, Two Dimensional Art, Three Dimensional Art, Arts & Humanities, Dance & Drama, Practical Living, Physical Education and Computer Technology. Students struggling in Reading and/or Math have the opportunity to use one related arts period for enrichment in the area in which they are struggling.
In addition to academics, Highland offers a host of programs for students to be involved in after school, including a variety of sports, academic teams and after school activities. There is truly something for everyone.
