Outstanding Staff
Crosby’s highly qualified teachers are all certified in their teaching areas: 95 percent hold a Master’s Degree or higher, including National Board Certified teachers, and many have certification in counseling and/or administration. In addition to classroom instruction, Crosby teachers are involved in professional organizations, curriculum planning, and development, textbook selection, professional-development planning, group counseling, and tutorial services. Crosby staff members have earned numerous awards and grants, including JCPS Principal and two Assistant Principal awards of the Year, Music Educator of the Year, and Aegon Teacher Award Winner, and a Milken Educator Award. A supportive staff including the principal, assistant principals, counselors, a librarian, teachers, assistants, and office, custodial, and cafeteria workers make Crosby a pleasant, comfortable, and secure place in which to learn.
