What is the Youth Service Center?

Crosby’s Youth Service Center has been created as a part of the Kentucky Education Reform Act. The Youth Service Center provides services to enhance students’ abilities to succeed in school. Parents and teachers agree that it is extremely difficult for children to be successful in school when their families face many issues. The program provides direct services at the center ot links families to other resources in the community.

The mission of the Adams YSC is to provide services, activities, and guidance to families in order to build a bridge to span the school, home, and community. We will work together with students and their families as they learn to shape the social and environmental forces that affect their daily lives, We believe that if we remove the barriers that interfere with learning; our students will succeed and become productive members of society.
