JCPS Students - Check out the online resources on the STUDENT section. Select 'Elementary,' Middle' or 'High' which includes Homework Help, Academic Skills Practice, Academic Game Center, Reference Tool Box and Information on Clubs and Sports.

Using KY Virtual Library:

The KYVL icon is located on all computer desktops in the library.

KYVL may be accessed at home if you have a computer, Internet access and the ID and password from your librarian.

  1. Open: Internet Explorer
  2. Go to http://www.kyvl.org
  3. At School: Select K-12 Schools, Select Middle School
  4. At Home: You will need an ID and password. This ID and password change periodically. Contact Mrs. Kirzinger for the password.
  • Select Catalogs and Databases
  • Select EBSCO for magazines and periodicals
  • Select Grolier for encyclopedias
  • HW Wilson for biographies
  • Novelist for booklists and help for readers
