Mission
The Library Program will be an integral part of the instructional program at Conway Middle School providing all the resources necessary to influence student achievement and increase their opportunity for success.
Library media specialist promotes information literacy into the curriculum as she helps students access, synthesis, produce and communicate information.
This goal is accomplished more effectively when teachers and library media specialists collaborate in providing opportunities for students to think critically.
Staff Circulation Policies:
All materials must be checked out at the circulation desk. Although there is not a time limit for returning materials, please be considerate of others' needs. If you need the materials before or after school when library staff is not available, please leave the materials on the circulation desk with your name and date and they will be sent to you ASAP.
Student Check-out/Circulation Policy:
To make the checkout process more efficient, students have a Student PIN label placed inside their agendas and are used when checking out books. Students may borrow the books for 3 week periods. Students are responsible for the cost of damaged or lost books. If books are not returned on time, students will lose team reward privileges. Some reference books may be checked out overnight. Magazines may not be checked out.
