PTSA General Body Meeting - 5/19 @ 6:30

Please join us! We will discuss our accomplishments and goals; present the budget for approval and announce next year’s PTSA Board members. If you are interested in serving on the board, please email your contact info to cmsptsa@insightbb.com, call the school at 485-8224 or fill out the form below and send it in to the school office by 4/27. We will also be holding the SBDM election for the 2 parent positions for next school year. Please look for info to come home soon and if interested, please fill out the form and send it back in. A big thanks to Christy Campbell and Anna Hoke for serving on this year’s SBDM! We will also hold 3 drawings on this night for gift cards for all PTSA members.

Membership

We have a record of 286 members this year!! Thanks to everyone that has joined this year. The student with the most memberships towards the end of the school year will also receive a gift card. We will announce his/her name at the General Body Meeting. If you have joined the PTSA and not yet received your membership card, please let us know so we can get one to you. You can use this card to receive discounts at various retailers. Again, thanks to everyone for their continued support.

Fundraiser

Our annual fundraiser will begin soon after school resumes in August, we will be selling Cookie Dough!! A huge thanks to all the parents and families who made this year’s fundraiser successful and we have high hopes that next year will be even better!

Reminders

Even though summer will be here soon, you can still help our school during the break…our Every1Reads Program is in need of new or slightly used books; please collect and send in any books that you feel would be appropriate for middle school aged students. The CMS YSC is always in need of clothes, especially uniforms and belts. These items go directly to Carrithers students who need them. We participate in programs with both Office Depot and Target. This is our last newsletter of the school year and I would like to personally thank everyone for making it a great year for me! I have enjoyed getting to know the students and families; we truly do have a great group of young adults attending this school! I have appreciated all of the support from Mrs. Gausepohl, teachers, staff and volunteers. Thank you Tami Dugas, Kelli Gwilt, LaTonya Dooley Cheryl Gilbert, John Snead & Paula Hughes for helping to make this year a fun and successful one!
