Advanced Placement Program College credit can be earned through the Advanced Placement exam given at Waggener in May. Students need to check the university they plan to attend to find out the minimum score that institute will accept and how the credit will transfer. The AP courses currently offered at Waggener are listed at the right. |
(Students can elect to take the AP exam at the end of the courses listed above) |

Bellarmine Access Program Advanced College Credit for Exceptional Secondary Students (ACCESS) is a dual credit program through Bellarmine University that offers college credit for specific high school courses offered at Waggener High School. Courses are taught by Waggener teacher who are Bellarmine adjunct faculty members. These courses are accepted at Bellarmine and can be used as transfer credits to most other colleges and universities. Students must meet certain academic qualifications to be eligible to enroll in ACCESS during their junior and senior years and must earn a grade of B. or higher in an ACCESS course to earn Bellarmine credit. Students pay an additional per course fee to Bellarmine for each course taken. *Currently Literature and Composition is the only class offering ACCESS credit. |
