Shoes and Socks:

    • No sandals of any kind, flip-flops, shower shoes, slippers, house shoes, moccasins, or mules/clogs will be allowed.
    • Shoes must have a closed toe and a solid heel. Shoes with laces must have laces tied.
    • Shoes tongues must be inside the pantleg and straps fastened.
    • Socks, tights, or stockings must be worn and visible

Outerwear (jackets, coats, vests and hooded sweatshirts) and all head wear must be removed within the building and placed in lockers before school begins. Outerwear may be carried to sixth period and placed under or on the chair to aid the student in his or her departure from school.

The Dress Code prohibits the following in the building:

    • Keys hanging from the neck
    • Hats, caps, hoods, gloves, bandanas, do-rags, or similar items
    • Sunglasses
    • Sweat suits or jogging suits
    • Clothing that has been hand-painted or has unauthorized designs
    • Clothing of any type that is unusual, vulgar, attention-getting, or distracting.
    • Clothing with holes, patches, torn, cut seams, or frayed bottoms
    • Any items that are distracting and not representing traditional dress; this includes excessive wrist bands and bracelets, will be considered a dress code violation.

Personal Grooming:

    • Hair must be clean and neat at all times.
    • Hair styles that are extreme, distracting, or attention-getting, including shaved heads, will not be permitted.
    • Hair must be a natural hair color (no severe, contrasting highlights)
    • The male's hair length should be no more than 1 1/2" and can not touch the ears; must be tapered, not pulled back to curl around the ears, and not to pass the top of the shirt collar, not to cover eyebrows
    • Cut-in designs, braids, and tails are not permissible.
    • Facial hair, except for a well-trimmed mustache, is not allowed.
    • Sideburns may not extend below the earlobe.
    • Visible body piercings, tongue piercings, tattoos, or other body markings are not allowed.
    • Earrings, posts, spacers, or bandages may not be worn in/on the ears by males.
    • Females may wear earrings only in the earlobes. The earlobe is the bottom fleshy part of the ear. No more than two pair allowed
    • No dental grills (grillz or fronts)
