- Oxford-style shirt or polo-style shirt (solid colors only, buttons only, no logos, long or short sleeve)
- No DICKIE Work shirts
- No shirt/top may be sleeveless, low-cut, tight, form-fitting or revealing
- No long-sleeved shirts may be worn under short-sleeved shirts.
- No shirts/tops may show bare back or bare midriff
- No shirt may have unusual, vulgar, drug/alcohol/tobacco-related or distracting imprints
- Ties are optional attire and can be worn only with oxford-style shirt.
- An oxford shirt is one that has buttons, collar, yoke (shoulder), and external stitching; is cotton or a cotton/polyester blend (no slick or silky fabric);is designed with a tail that allows 3" of material to be tucked in; is solid in color; has no logo;has long or short sleeves (closer to elbow than shoulder); no capped sleeves; is not tight or form fitting;
- A Polo dress shirt is one that has buttons from chest area up (2-5 buttons) and a collar; is knit cotton or cotton/polyester blend (no slick or silky fabric); is designed with a tail that allows 3" of material to be tucked in; is solid color; has no logo; has long or short sleeve (closer to elbow than shoulder); no capped sleeve.
- Shirts must be tucked in AT ALL TIMES and not bloused. If a student raises his/her hand above the head or bends over at the waist and any part of the shirt tail comes out, then it does not meet the standard.
- Sweaters and Sweatshirts -Male High bookstore-issued only or approved by principal.
- Hooded sweatshirts are not allowed.
- Sweaters and sweatshirts may not be worn tied around the waist.
