Iroquois High School Magnet Career Academy provides a unique Construction Technology Program as its Magnet. Construction Technology offers a dynamic combination of technical and academic programs designed to meet the individual needs of students. All students enrolled in the Construction Technology are expected to complete the precollege curriculum in order to expand options upon graduation. Students enrolled in the Construction Technology Program invest their time developing marketable skills in high-demand areas such as brick and block masonry, building maintenance, carpentry, architectural drafting, electrical wiring, heating and air conditioning, interior design, plumbing, and welding. Iroquois has an award-winning Navy JROTC Program and is one of only two schools in Jefferson County participating in the National Academy of Finance, a program to teach students the functions of finance and financial management.
