NHS deliversEastern’s National Honor Society includes students with outstanding academic records and that are involved in volunteer activites. In order to get in you need a GPA of 3.5 or greater and then you are invited in.

Their biggest and most well-known project is, of course, the Holiday Care-A-Van. Between Thanksgiving and winter break, NHS members count the cans and money collected for Eastern Area Community Ministries.

After the food is collected it is then delivered to needy families in our area by seniors. Other service projects that members participate in are after school tutoring and working at Graduation. Their sponsor is Mrs. Sauer .
