It's
Friday night and your friends are throwing the biggest party
of the year. You are stuck with long hours of endless practice
on top of an excruciating pain that won’t allow you to
do anything full-out. Sound familiar?
Practicing day in and day out for three minutes
of extreme adrenaline, these Dancin' Eagles work hard for their
name, respect, and success. First competing at the Universal Dance Association summer camp, they were placed in the top three for both Jv and Varisty. From this they recieved a bid to Nationals in Orlando, Florida. At Nationals, the Varsity placed 6th in jazz while the JV placed 6th in pom.
The dance team's hard work paid off when they won their three-time state championship at the Kentucky Dance Coach Organization competition in the spring of 2011. They are very excited that they did so well and hope to achieve the same thing in 2012.
